White House scolds China over tariffs on ‘fairly traded’ exports

The Trump administration Monday told Beijing to focus on fixing its own “unfair trading practices” instead of hitting “fairly traded” U.S. exports with tariffs – the first U.S. reaction to China's announcement of new duties on 128 U.S. products in response to Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum.
